Lafourche Parish Transit Feasibility Study

Lafourche Parish contracted South Central Planning and Development Commission to explore the possibility of expanding public transit services in the Parish.  The results of the study, which are located here, suggest that the Parish may benefit from additional bus routes and “dial a ride” service.

Although no timeline is set, the Parish is currently working with state officials and transit providers to create a more robust transit service for all Lafourche residents.
